The Amara Kitchen team will open up a new perception of healthy food. This will be a multi-day experience to ignite your curiosity about plant-based food, nutrition, health and pleasure so that you go back home knowing how a natural way of eating can feel in body, mind and soul.

After five years of creating recipes and delicious food to nourish retreats at Amara, Carlota and the kitchen team have developed a renowned cooking style combining richness and lightness, elaboration and simplicity, and freshness and nourishment. Using local and even homegrown ingredients from our garden, we are inspired by the mediterranean flavours always with a twist of world cuisine that is the signature of our kitchen.

More than a cooking retreat…

You are on for a treat! Together we will prepare fresh, seasonal gourmet vegan living food that will help you detox, cleanse and energise your body, and that will help you integrate and fully absorb the information, the practices and the experience altogether. Spring is a time for nature to generate life, and so does your body!

Cooking is one of the things that make us human. Our connection to nature and the elements is tightly related with our gathering culture, sitting and eating around the fire, celebrating on a big harvest banquet table, and keeping the kitchen fire on so the whole house is warm.
 
This experience is going to revolutionise your relationship with food and cooking, becoming more in touch with a natural way of eating and respecting the ways of nature.

MOVEMENT & YOGA SESSSIONS

“Corpore Sano, Mente Sana” – Along with a healthy diet comes a healthy lifestyle. Every morning we will have the benefit of enjoying movement and yoga classes, a combination of practices that we like to share to inspire you to introduce them into your daily life. The best way to wake up the body and start the day with a boost of energy! Bring some comfortable clothes

This sessions are included in the Program and everyone is welcome to join!

MASSAGE & THERAPIES

Our therapists will take care of your body and help you enter a deeper state of relaxation to be able to absorbe and digest the information and food that we will be preparing and eating. Nothing better than taking care of ourselves on a weekend where we will engage in good habits!

This sessions have an extra cost:

90′ massage – 90€

SAUNA & COLD PLUNGE

One of the Amara highlights is our wood burning Sauna that combined with the cold pool plunges creates a great activation of the circulatory system that helps regenerate our cells and nervous system. Bring a towel or sarong to sit on, drink lots of water and sweat on!

This sessions will be included in the program!

ACCOMMODATION & BOOKING

The price of the retreat will depend on your choice of accommodation. We have different options available. A 200€ deposit will be requested to reserve your spot and the rest of payment can be done upon arrival.
