RAW – A Human Experience

is an immersive journey where we leave behind the rigidity of modern life and embrace the beauty of playful, intuitive living.

This isn’t just a retreat—it’s a playground for your body, mind, and soul, set in the heart of nature at Amara Valley.

MOVE ◌ PLAY ◌ CONNECT ◌ GROW

Let nature remind you who you are, and let your body show you
what it’s truly capable of.

Play is the foundation of what we do, moving away from the linear, repetitive and methodical towards freedom, creativity and fitness independence. When we play, time disappears and movement becomes joyful.

We create space for humans to meet humans in nature, to explore their bodies, reconnect with their inner nature and the outer world, and rediscover their primal balance, intuition and strength.

We believe that everyone can feel good in their bodies and that we each need something different in order to do so. We will guide you to listen to your body and to recognise what you need in every moment.

What You’ll Leave With

◌  A deeper connection to your body, nature, and your inner self.

JANA

As a certified Ayurvedic Coach, Chef, and Budokon Mobility Teacher, I inspire intuitive, growth-oriented, and joyful being. Ayurveda transformed my life by deepening my understanding of our interconnectedness with nature and the uniqueness of our bodies. Ancient wisdom and mindfulness research teach us to listen to our body’s language—to reconnect, understand, and act—so we feel more alive from within.

OZ

Play is at the heart of my teaching. After competing as a professional basketball player, I transitioned to movement practices, studying with various teachers and immersing in the Fighting Monkey method. Over the years, I’ve explored internal martial arts, athletic development, dance improvisation, and playful games. With a Master’s in Sports Psychology and Coaching, I help adults rediscover play, move freely, and cultivate a deeper, intuitive relationship with their bodies.

LEON

After years in the tech world, I found myself disconnected from my body—until movement and embodiment practices reignited my awareness. Synergy Yoga became my foundation for expression, release, and integration. Managing Amara Valley Retreat Center deepened my ability to craft meaningful experiences that nourish the mind, body, and emotions, helping others reconnect and find balance.

JASON

I began my journey with traditional weight training before moving to Ashtanga yoga, bodyweight strength training, hand balancing and calisthenics. I embrace the practice of continually learning new movements, as I find the body’s capacity to adapt physically to be a powerful metaphor for what we are capable of in the rest of life.

CHARLIE

Trained in physical activity and sports sciences, I specialize in holistic movement techniques. After studying at INEF, I sought methods that integrate mind and body beyond physical practice. Influenced by mentors like Ido Portal and Joseph Bartz, I now share tools for freeing movement, both physically and mentally.

ATTY

A yoga teacher, massage therapist, and lifelong student of the natural world. Over the past 12 years, she has deepened her connection to nature through herbal medicine studies. She shares tools that inspire curiosity, belonging, and safety within our bodies and the earth.
