Twice a year, we invite you to join us as volunteers for 4 to 6 weeks, actively engaging in our transformative project. Your support will be crucial in various tasks, contributing to the maintenance of our space dedicated to healing and transformation. Join us in making a positive impact!
As a volunteer, you will work 5 days per week, 6 hours per day.
Experience in hospitality, D.I.Y, or gardening is valued, but it’s not a prerequisite. What’s crucial is your ability to foster positive relationships and maintain a proactive attitude.
You will be mainly involved in one of these two teams:
Outdoor maintenance including food and toilet compost, repairs and special project work.
Cleaning, tidying and generally preparing the house for guests.
As a volunteer at Amara Valley, you will experience living in 10 hectares of beautiful nature. Additionally, you’ll enjoy:

◈ Single bed in a shared room (two or three people)
◈ All meals included, vegan and vegetarian options
◈ Internet access in the main house
◈ Access to facilities: Pool, Sauna, Meditation Room, Yoga Shala (availability depending on the retreats)
Immerse yourself in a unique space where connections flourish. At Amara Valley, you’ll meet a diverse network of teachers, therapists, and artists who curate workshops, retreats, and ceremonies. Our multicultural environment is a nurturing ground, fostering the growth of like-minded individuals on their transformative journey. Join us in a community that strengthens and uplifts.
Our activities are tailored to the needs of the retreat schedule. The days preceding retreats are “reset” days. The site management team prepares the sauna, compost toilets and cleans the pool. The housekeeping team prepares the rooms and shared spaces so guests feel welcome and comfortable. We have a Guest Guardian (GG) each day, who takes special care of the dining room and does a toilet round. Some work hours each day are dedicated to cleaning the Amara Kitchen so the chefs can do their magic! At other times we work on varied projects indoors and outside.

◈ Documentation or visa allowing work in Spain (EU)
◈ Commitment to the full chosen Period
◈ At least intermediate-level English is appreciated. Our meetings are usually in English
◈ Go through the selection process with our Volunteer Coordinator
Your journey to Amara Valley awaits! However, please note that the following are not included:
We have limited availability with only 4 slots per period. To secure your place at Amara, an administrative fee of 50€ is required.
Please note, this fee is only refundable if the cancellation is made at least 15 days before your agreed start date.
